New LayoutOn the northernmost edge of Abalathia’s Spine exists a mountain tribe renowned for producing fearsome mercenaries. Wielding greataxes and known as warriors, these men and women learn to harness their inner-beasts and translate that power to unbridled savagery on the battlefield.
In former times which saw war waged ceaselessly in Eorzea, the warriors featured prominently on the front lines of battle. With the arrival of peacetime, however, their art has descended into the shadows of obscurity, where it remains to this day.

- Macro at 2.12 is a self-holmgang macro. See Below.
- Sprint, Mount, etc. are on a separate utility hotbar and are bound to 5 and *5 respectively

I open with Onslaught to start the rotation with single or multiple mobs. I usually use Tomahawk just to pick up strays on wandering mobs. For my movement rotation I have my left high-hat setup as my movement, and my single and AOE attacks on my right 4 sets of buttons. That way I can still attack and move at the same time. I have also placed Shake It off on my right button so i can gather for a stack attack. The rest of the Crossbar is just the best place that works for me.
Personal MMO Mouse WAR
Hotbar 1: The good ol 1-2-3 combo on top, then the single + AoE oGCDs along the right side, then the legacy spot for Sprint. Next row down is AoE 1-2 combo. Then next row is the ranged and gap close, which thankfully still works as a free damage button in 7.0. Then the two bursties.
Hotbar 2 (ctrl): A few oddities in here. Top left is the burst hitter. Next is technically the alternative 3 in the 1-2-3 combo, since it felt more fluent to press 1, 2, ctrl+2. Next is the single-target spender. This was just built on the rotations as I leveled up and placed these actions accordingly. On row 2, bloodwhetting and the AoE spender just had to be neighbours. Row 3 has the job-specific mitigations, although now that I re-read the tooltip, Thrill and Bloodwhetting could be great vertical neighbours. Row 4 has the straight up heal, low recast time shield-a-friend, and team shield.
Hotbar 3: Same as usual with all my tanks.
Juce Warrior
Single target on RT + face buttons, AOE on LT + face buttons
Damage mitigation on LT + D pad, barriers and healing on double LT + face buttons
High damage on RT + D pad with offensive buffs on double RT + face buttons
My strange warrior HB
I use a mmo gaming mouse from razer called the Naga, the 3x4 grid is the exact layout as my mouse buttons. Hot bar 2 goes like this from left to right, top to bottom: 1, 2, 3, 4, Q, E, R, T, 5, -, =. The - and = are left and right on my mouse wheel, 5 is reserved for long cooldowns. Hot bar 3 is the same as 2 but with shift being held. The empty item between Tomahawk and Holmgang is a health Pot
WAR 7.0
I show Cross Hotbar 3 (Left) with both of the expanded trigger controls, so you can easily add in another 8 actions if you prefer, I use XHB 8 as a shared bar between all classes for traversal and general actions outside of combat. Role actions are consistent among my layouts, and so are general actions. The macro icon is a placeholder for a Tincture/Gemdraught.

Current WIP for updated hotbars in 7.0, focusing on minimising swapping hotbars in combat and keeping visual clarity on relevant buff cooldowns and maximising consistency across all jobs. Bar 1 is for single target, and Bar 2 for AoE.
The Glamour Plate button is being used in place of the newly added skill as needed, and the dye represents potion. Sprint and LB are macroed to L3/R3 respectively.

Make sure to change Double tap L2 to "Cross Hotbar 4 - Left" and Double tap R2 to "Criss Hotbar 4 - Right"
90 -> 100 changes:
- Vengeance upgrades to Damnation (no change needed)
- Primal Wrath - auto replaces IR in sequence when condition met (no change needed probably)
- Primal Ruination added - follows Primal Rend as combo weaponskill (no change needed)
∴ the above section is pointless

Rainbows WAR XHB
I'm a small streamer that loves FFXIV and many other things. The XHBs I publish are solely how I personally like to organize my Hotbars when on the controller! Feel free to use them if you too like them! Some are thrown together and some are planned out.
Kreeger's Warrior
The XHB setup I use for my Warrior. 1-3 are unique to WAR, all else are shared between all jobs. XHB4's LT->RT pane is a selection of emotes. XHB7 is my job selector.
