Inspired by Bun Boss but modified and updated for 7.01

I created my chotbars to be comfortable, practical, and aesthetic. Nearly all same/similar skills are in the same position across all jobs/roles while allowing for as little finger gymnastics as possible.

My XHB is split between chotbars 2(left) and 7(right)

2 is unique to each job while 7 is shared. Emote icons are (duh) my favorite emotesa and the magnifying glass is my job changer.

Thunderclap Macro for slots LT D-Pad

Replace "X" with party member list number. ex: /action "Thunderclap" <4>

Replace skill locations with Macros Refer to In-Game Macro commands

Fury generators on the right, fury spenders on the left. Need I say more?

L2 + AB: Chakra and Gap Closer and Low Level Single Target combo

R2 + DP: Riddle and Beast Buffs

R2 + AB: Basic Single Target and AoE combos

Expanded XHB: Role Actions and Limit Break

Current WIP for updated hotbars in 7.0, focusing on minimising swapping hotbars in combat and keeping visual clarity on relevant buff cooldowns and maximising consistency across all jobs. Bar 1 is for single target, and Bar 2 for AoE.

The Glamour Plate button is being used in place of the newly added skill as needed, and the dye represents potion. Sprint and LB are macroed to L3/R3 respectively.

Monk is very TBD until I can better feel out the new 2/3/4 rotation.

Lose Anatman.

Not much change otherwise.

Maybe play with the position of the main six 1-2-3 GCDs to see what feels best.

Also maybe change the position of the Riddle skills if their follow-up abilities make their positions feel odd.

Make sure to change Double tap L2 to "Cross Hotbar 4 - Left" and Double tap R2 to "Cross Hotbar 4 - Right"

It's just easy for me this way

monk hurts my brain don't take this hotbar seriously it's most likely not optimal, it works for me when i've had my food and water and sleep

How I set up my crossbars as a monk on steamdeck (Currently level ~65)

I try to play every classes/jobs, thus I tend to reuse same slots for same "functionality" across jobs.

Form Shift - Dragon Kick - Twin Snakes - Demolish - Bootshine - True Strike - Snap Punch (this is the best opener and single target attack gives you all the buffs)

Basic skills on right, AOE on left, buffs on cross.

I'm a small streamer that loves FFXIV and many other things. The XHBs I publish are solely how I personally like to organize my Hotbars when on the controller! Feel free to use them if you too like them! Some are thrown together and some are planned out.
