This page lists all player-created hotbar (HB) and cross-hotbar (XHB) layout guides and keybindings for the Bard Class/Job in Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail.
New LayoutThe word “bard” ordinarily puts folk in mind of those itinerant minstrels, fair of voice and nimble of finger, who earn their coin performing in taverns and the halls of great lords. Few know, however, that bards in fact trace their origins back to the bowmen of eld, who sang in the heat of battle to fortify the spirits of their companions.
In time, their impassioned songs came to hold sway over the hearts of men, inspiring their comrades to great feats and granting peace unto those who lay upon the precipice of death.
Bard Bars
Keybinds for those interested.
I use an mmo mouse so 1-6 on all bars are pressed on the mouse, uisng shift and ctrl for bar 2 and 3. The latter 6 on all bars are pressed uisng the keyboard and shift/ctrl.
Shift - Shortened to S for the sake of readability, So shift-1 would be s1.
Ctrl - Shortened to C for the sake of readability, So ctrl-1 would be c1.
Bar 1 - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, Q, E, T, sT, R, sR
Bar 2 - s1, s2, s3, s4, s5, s6, sQ, sE ,F, sF, G ,sG
Bar 3 - c1, c2, c3, c4, c5, c6, cQ, cE, cF, cZ ,cR , cX
The + on Bar 2 is an hotbar display on/off button for my other bars with emotes and such.
The heart on Bar 3 is placeholder for Mana Potions.
BRD 7.0
I show Cross Hotbar 3 (Left) with both of the expanded trigger controls, so you can easily add in another 8 actions if you prefer, I use XHB 8 as a shared bar between all classes for traversal and general actions outside of combat. Role actions are consistent among my layouts, and so are general actions. The macro icon is a placeholder for a Tincture/Gemdraught.

FFXIV EW BRD LG G600
Playing with an LG G600 MMO mouse.
Group 1 is standard 1-9 Group 2 is Shift + 1-12 - (DEX POT is the heart macro) Group 3 is Ctrl + 1-12
Using the mouse's GSHIFT the third (ring) finger button on the mouse can be held down to be the control button.
BRD 7.0
Current WIP for updated hotbars in 7.0, focusing on minimising swapping hotbars in combat and keeping visual clarity on relevant buff cooldowns and maximising consistency across all jobs. Bar 1 is for single target, and Bar 2 for AoE.
The Glamour Plate button is being used in place of the newly added skill as needed, and the dye represents potion. Sprint and LB are macroed to L3/R3 respectively.

Make sure to change Double tap L2 to "Cross Hotbar 4 - Left" and Double tap R2 to "Cross Hotbar 4 - Right"
90 -> 100 changes:
- Heartbreak Shot: upgrade to Bloodletter (no change needed, but may want to switch song order in R2-R2 section)
- Resonant Arrow: Action Change from Barrage (no change needed)
- Radiant Encore: Action Change from Radiant Finale (no change needed)
Plus a couple of housekeeping tweaks for efficiency
Bard Level 73 setup
Have Sprint, Peleton, Mount, Return, and Teleport on separate hidden hotbars utilizing hotbars 1-10 for Stream Deck.

Left/Right Scroll Wheel clicks allows Hotbar 2 and 3 gameplay solely on mouse.
Keyboard gameplay can be eliminated entirely, although not recommended due to movement.Bard
Bars 1-2 are on the number row (1 through =), with 2 being Ctrl+[key]. The general idea being either that the action on bar 1 leads to that on bar 2, or bar 2 is bar 1 but AoE or stronger or something of the sort. Bars 3-4 are on the numpad, and doubly so mapped on the side buttons on my mouse, with 4 being Ctrl+[key], although bar 4 is generally just assorted things for all classes to use.
Noko Steamdeck Bard
How I set up my crossbars as a bard on steamdeck (Currently level ~65)
I try to play every classes/jobs, thus I tend to reuse same slots for same "functionality" across jobs.

I'm a small streamer that loves FFXIV and many other things. The XHBs I publish are solely how I personally like to organize my Hotbars when on the controller! Feel free to use them if you too like them! Some are thrown together and some are planned out.
Kreeger's Bard
The XHB setup I use for my Bard. 1-3 are unique to BRD, all else are shared between all jobs. XHB4's LT->RT pane is a selection of emotes. XHB7 is my job selector.
